So go ahead and say what you wanna say 'Cause see, when I was younger I would say
Sitting cross legged in a dimly lit dorm for hours was enough to drive anyone to a fair degree of boredom and Amelia was no exception. The confides of such a small space were getting to her, urging her to get outside and "see the world" ... well not the world so much as the grounds of hogwarts, but after the previous night's adventures Amy was a bit on the reluctant side. Pursing her lips, the hufflepuff ran her fingers through her golden hair. It's worth it.. she thought, smiling to herself besides, I'm not letting that get in the way. So in a flash, Amy was up out of bed and hopping around attempting to change out of her pyjamas and into a more suited set of clothing. Deciding on a simple pair of faded jeans and a matching blue sweater with a white top underneath, Amelia was well and truly ready. She grabbed her wand, tucking it into her jeans' pocket and flipped on some scandals. Amy then made her way quietly out of the common room, smiling at the random collaboration of Fourth years as she went. Now the only question left was where exactly would she go? Did the night call for a trip to the classrooms? Nah that was a tad bit too nerdy.. should she instead go to the greenhouses again? No, she'd only get deja vu. Instead Amy prompted for a visit to the lake, the small body of water always seemed to relax Amelia, creating an air of peace about her. It was settled, the lake it was! Quicker then Amelia had first anticipated, she had arrived by the lake, the smell of salt and flowers filled her senses and she couldn't help but smile. For such a late time at night, the view was astounding. Once again the moon shone brightly above the water, reflecting light onto the lake, it highlighted the ripples which softly moved over the water's surface immediately making Amelia thankful she had come outside tonight. Smiling, she decided to lay on the soft grass, her hair covered the surrounding area as she made herself comfortable. She was almost tempted to just sleep out here, but unfortunately for her she lacked the bare camping necessities. So Amy would just have to settle with an hour thinking under the stars. It was truly a wonder that people did not come out here at night, Amy of all people was well aware of what they were missing out on. Sure, it was against curfew, but that was one of the only rules Amy allowed herself to break. Well all the better for me! She inwardly thought, laughing softly to herself as she made shapes with the stars. [/blockquote][/blockquote]

"Oh yeah? Will fuck the lot of ya'!" With those words most would assume a sense of anger to follow. They would think to be seeing a man red in the face, fists clenched, anger clear and apparent, but not Tommy, he had only that broad grin he carried with him at all times. Walking out of the Slytherin Common Room backwards, his face turned the jeering Slytherins who shouted at him as he left. Tommy only retaliated with mock pain at their sharp words and placed his hands over his heart. "Come on guys, I'm not allowed to wanna get away from you? Not even for alittle while? I mean look at you all, you aren't the prettiest bunch!" Shouting the last word he spun around on his heel and escaped from them before they could try anything else to lure him back, before they could try anything just to get him to stay. Rolling his eyes he left the loud words and laughter behind. Funny, for the most part he hated his fellow Slytherins, and tonight he couldn't wait to get away from them.
Walking down the dark corridor, hands shoved into the pockets of his worn out jeans, he quickly made his way through the cold corridors. Damn it all to hell, in his need to escape the companionship of such close friends, or as he called it The Snake Pit, he hadn't grabbed anything. He was stuck in a thin t-shirt, how wonderful. His bare arms were exposed, his left arm carrying the tattoo that traveled most of the arm, the tattoo he snapped at others at for simply asking what it even was. He was one of those people that got body ink for themselves, not the attention from others. And whenever someone did ask what it was the reply was always the same. 'If you are so damn curious go look it up in a book!' Though to anyone willing to do the research they would find it was a detailed map of the Seven Layers of Hell. A cheery thought, though the artwork itself was beautiful. Done entirely in black and white, shaded in gray it was simple and elogent, something rare among a world of large and in your face tattoos that screamed for attention. Or as Tommy called the, the boring as hell kind.
Then he heard it, the shrill voice of an older woman. "Tommy! Tommy! Where do you think you are going at this hour?" He didn't need to turn around to know it was someone old, someone annoyed, and someone who had made her night dead set on ruining whatever fun the Slytherin could stumble upon. Of course, when a man is backed into a situation such as this he has a few things he can do. One is he can simply stand their and take the punishment, hoping isn't too bad and he doesn't get into too much trouble. Or their was the second option, the one that he always found himself falling back on. Hauling ass. He took off like a bat outta hell, not looking back once. The shrill screams of the woman chased him down the corridor, only to be met by the echoing laughter of Tommy as he made his grand escape. Damn it was fun to get away with it, though he knew when he got back it wouldn't be as good, the Old Bat had recognized him. Meh, that was a problem for later, right now he had his damn freedom!
Finally he came to a jogging stop at the Lake. He had run too fast, too far and too much. Doubling over by the lake, he sucked down air, alittle of the sweat dripping from his brow to the grass. Pulling himself back up he looked out at the lake, damn it looked good this time of night, or atleast it looked cold! And that was all he really needed right now; but then his eye caught something else entirely. Looking over at the woman sprawled out by the lake he thought he recognized her. She was a Hufflepuff he thought, or atleast he was pretty sure. Those bastards were so quite he hardly noticed them, though it was hard to ignore this one. Shrugging to himself lightly walked across the grass and sat down beside her, his knees bent up and his arms resting on them as he looked out at the water. "I'd be careful out here if I was you, I just got chased through the corridors by the Swamp Thing, and I think she may be headed back to her nest soon." Looking down at her he offered a grin. Hopefully she was in a good mood, serious people always annoyed him.

Playing with her hair, Amelia still stared at the night's sky. Her smile was as large as it always was, and her presence was seemingly unknown. She was quiet most of the time, like people expected of her, but when truly excited she could and would be an absolute riot. Amy was one of those people who needed to be in the right mood to be truly funny and light-hearted. Picking up a nearby flower and twirling it in between her fingers, Amy begun to think. She wondered why her life was going under such an immediate and dramatic change. She had to say, she did love the switch from being unnoticed to noticed by some of the more.. popular students of hogwarts. Amy was prepared this time. prepared for the sudden arrival of another person. Usually she'd be up and running out of pure shock. Yeah, she was scared rather easily, but that wasn't uncommon was it? Shifting her body, Amy blinked, staring up at the face of the newcomer. She scrambled up, leaning on the palms of her hands for support, she gave a soft smile in his direction. Tommy Sanchez, one of Axel's best friends. "Really?" She asked, tilting her head slightly, her hair fell over her shoulder. She couldn't help but laugh - heightened by her apparent confidence. "That's why it pays to be sneaky, like me" Amy joked, winking to further the humour. Wrapping her arms around her legs, Amy shifted yet again so she was in roughly the same position as Tommy "Can I ask why you're out here? Or does it have to do with the Swamp thing" Amelia did appreciate Tommy's humour, it was somewhat refreshing - the majority of her house mates lacked any form of jokes.. well apart form her brother. The people in her year consisted of typical humourless sport fantatics and the fashion obsessed females. Hardly any fun. [/blockquote][/blockquote]

Grinning broadly in joy he realized this woman was in good humor, that could only mean one thing; he actually had someoen fun to talk to! At her mention of whether or not he was avoiding the Swamp Thing he smiled, leaning back and taking a position that made it look as if he was deeply pondering the question. "No, I would have to say that I, myself, was running from Dracula. Ya, you how it all started was Dracula was in my Dorm so I had to run out screaming bloody murder, then Axel came out to be all badass and go fight Dracula, but then Frankenstein came outta no where and just blind-sided him!" As if to emphasize the point hs clapped his hands loudly. "Malfoy was busy mumbling he was the Slytherin Princess so he didn't help much, and then I rush out into the corridor as any startled man would, and what do you know waiting for me is the damned Swamp Thing! I dunno, it was like a 1930's horror movie reunion in their or something."
Upon finishing his story he looked over at Amelia with a grin spread across his face. He was being honest alittle! The Slytherins were about as annoying as a 1930's movie monster reunion, and he liked them all about the same! Plus a couple of the girls looked like the Swamp Thing; so really he wasn't lying to ther Hufflepuff perse. He was more stretching the facts to add dramatic effect to a tale basely loosed upon true events though not really. Does that make more sense? Looking back at her he thought he recognized her, and has crude as it may have sounded he wondered if Axel had ever brought her back to the Common room. It wouldn't shock him, generally whenever he brought a girl back the most Tommy said was, "Hey, want a butterbeer." As he sat their drinking one already. See, the annoying part of it all was Malfoy usually had a girl in his and Axel's dorm already, which left Tommy to get kicked out of his own! Damn, the sacrifices we all make for friends.
"So, although swapping war stories has been a blast and all, how about we skip to the fun part." Looking at her with a smile he spoke, "My name is Tommy Sanchez. I'm a Leo, I enjoy long walks on the beach and a woman who is good in the kitchen. I don't like quidditch and I am a dog lover. I'm just looking for a woman who understands me, you know?" Grinning he laughed at his own words, acting like he was on some kind of stupid dating show. "But really, the name is Tommy, though wouldn't surprise me if you knew that. Between Professors screaming that name and then just people in general yelling at me, it's hard not to!" As he sat their, he looked back out to the lake, and what always happened came true. He began wondering what lived in the depths, and then started wondering if some kind of water dragon might. The thought of that made him think the Dragon probably hated people. And then he could never go swim in that frickin lake.
Imaginations suck.

So go ahead and say what you wanna say 'Cause see, when I was younger I would say
Amelia couldn't help but laugh along as Tommy told her his outrageous story. It was certainly nice to have someone, who shared the same relative sense of humour as she did, in fact Amy had thought they had all disappeared, devoured by the monster known as maturity. "Just where have you been hiding all these years?" She joked, smiling widely as she tried to figure out just how to 'beef up' her own story. "Personally.. I just wanna see Scorpius dance a polka. That would be quite hilarious" Amy wasn't entirely sure if such a random comment was appropriate for such an occasion, but when he referred to Scorpius as the "Slytherin Princess" she was mildly impressed - with added heart fluttering at the mention of Axel. With a seemingly permanent grin plastered on her face, Amy was now feverishly enjoying this Slytherin's company. It was a relief to say the very least. "You know Axel?" Oh god, now she must sound pathetic! Like some love-sick puppy. "...That's quite the mix of the worlds most deadliest creatures!" Pausing to laugh, she shook her head, tucking her golden hair behind her ear "I think the best thing I can beat is the rock lobster" Yes, Amy had resorted to grabbing a random creature from a muggle song and stitched it in with her life. Although, she had for a long time, wished to party with this "rock lobster" - vivid images of dancing lobsters only came to mind! Slytherin's intrigued Amelia, it was always interesting to see how the 'tight group' went about their daily routines and 'what not' annoying others, pulling minor pranks and just.. acting like the 'tough guys'. In reality, what always amused Amy was, the fact that most were for the most part as chicken as well.. a chicken. It was a nice paradox which always served to lighten up Amelia (and her fellow hufflepuff's) spirit. "So are you like this all the time? Or is it just a cover? Ninja-Slytherin now? 'Cause your totally stealing my thunder!" She joked with added wink "Amelia Samson, also Leo, I love the nightlife and umm.. well guys with senses of humour, and for a little added bonus, a touch of badboy added in for that well needed cliché!" Amy could see that hanging around Tommy would never end in a dull moment, which was certainly welcome in Amy's life. He seemed like a person which wouldn't make her nervous, or even better, allowed her confidence to shine as opposed to her shyness. "yeah I did.. but you know, you and.. Axel are pretty famous.. umm at least, heaps of people in my house talk about you guys.. they don't really like you though.. especially my brother" Amy was a tad on the embarrassed side now, but she tried to hide that ever present blush before her vision too returned to the softly moving water.
