Dear Student,
You have been invited to join us at Hogwarts School Of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Below you will find out how things go down.
Oh you may not think me pretty, But don't judge on what you see, I'll eat myself if you can find A smarter hat than me. You can keep your bowlers black, Your top hats sleek and tall, For I'm the Hogwarts Sorting Hat And I can cap them all. There's nothing hidden in your head The Sorting Hat can't see, So try me on and I will tell you Where you ought to be.
The year is one thousand nine hundred fourty two and the school of Hogwarts has a different sort of students running through it. Its the years of Minerva McGonagall and a young Tom Marvolo Riddle. Things are running smoothly, Hogwarts is keeping up to the reputation it's held through out it's years since opening and the students couldn't be happier. Though rumors of some Slytherin students growing more interested in the Dark Arts are spreading, but they happen every year. Receiving your acceptance letter to this school is the most exciting day of many young witches and wizards life. But what happens if you don't get it at age eleven?
You might belong in Gryffindor, Where dwell the brave at heart, Their daring, nerve, and chivalry Set Gryffindors apart;
This is the very thing that happened to a miss Cecila Tucker , who just happened to be a resident at the same orphange as another Hogwarts student. She didn't recieve her letter until the end of what would have been her supposed thrid year. Headmast Dippet and Transfiguration Professor Dumbledore weren't very impressed that this slipped by them. During the summer they kept her with them constantly teaching her everything she needed to know to move her to her sixth year. Also helping her deal with the fact that she was a witch. On thing the two didn't forget to mention was that if she needed anything check with her slytherin classmate, Tom Riddle.
You might belong in Hufflepuff, Where they are just and loyal, Those patient Hufflepuffs are true And unafraid of toil; Or yet in wise old Ravenclaw, if you've a ready mind, Where those of wit and learning, Will always find their kind; Or perhaps in Slytherin You'll make your real friends, Those cunning folks use any means To achieve their ends.
Tom Riddle, thinking he left everything of his life back at the orphange hasn't the slightest clue that a childhood friend is awaiting him in the Slytherin common room. It's his sixth year and he's planning on executing many things this year. Trying to finally open the chamber of secrets is definatly on his list. But will this childhood friend catch more than just his friendly attention like she did at the orphanage? How will his friends take to the new arrival, who seems to be the female version of Tom.
So put me on! Don't be afraid! And don't get in a flap! You're in safe hands (though I have none) For I'm a Thinking Cap!
