General Personality: Charm. This is the one part of her personality that she can truly say she knows appeals. Her charm has always been a huge asset whenever and wherever she is. She can wink with the best of them and her smile is a real icebreaker for the greater populace. Her charm turns her smile into a smirk and she could melt butter at twenty paces to say the least. She is one of most charming women you will ever meet but it’ll get her into trouble now she can’t use it all that much. She doesn’t want to end up like her uncle, Sam, always going through countless flings instead of actually settling down with anybody. She must stop charming everyone she meets or it will end up with her all alone. Not that she will ever admit it but Kat has always been a bit of a romantic at heart to say the least. She knows that if she falls in love she’ll have to treat that special guy or girl right so she/he stays with her, as she doesn’t want to be a spinster forever. Sure she doesn’t much like the idea of settling down and getting married at the moment because she is only 19 but it is pretty much a certainty that by the times she’s out of university she’d have met the guy for her. She’s given herself a year to fall madly in love; she just has to find the right person.
Authority has always been one of Kate’s downfalls, simply because she can’t take it. In fact she is always up to mischief simply so that she can fight against it. She has grabbed the title of ‘Mischief Maker’ from her father and wears it with pride. She is an intelligent young woman but because she finds it so hard to focus her teachers used to despair of her. When she tried she used to shine brighter than most other people in her class but she is so easily distracted and seems to only become interested when there is actually something to do. She can’t sit and take notes without beginning to drum her fingers or fidget in her seat. She has to be up and doing or she gets frustrated and is often given detention for disobeying or talking back to her teachers because of this frustration. Her brain works far too fast for other people to understand, literally, far too fast, and that is because of the amazing amount of intelligence that buzzes around her like some kind of strange insect. She’s like a bee when its caught under a glass, no matter how hard you try and snuff it out it just keeps flying about trying to escape. That is what her thoughts are like, never ending and never switching off.
Some might wonder why Katy is not more proud that she is the last Pelletier standing. She is the only of her family left because James died when she was five years old. Her mother quickly told her never ever to think she was better than other people because of her blood and her name and from that day forth she was always the one standing up for people who weren’t of pureblood against those who were. In fact sometimes she was downright rude to her own kind to stop them from being cruel to others. Her father was a cold, evil man so why should she be proud to bare his name? Be the last of that name in existence? Katy hated her Dad even when he was alive and now that he’s dead she hates him even more, because now he’s never going to feel the wrath he deserves. Katherine’s hate can last for years; her good opinion once lost is lost forever to quote Jane Austen. She sets her hatred in stone and her heart is closed off completely to any begging to let someone in. Once you stab this little girl in the back that is the end of your relationship with her, no second chances.
Katherine Pelletier is the bounciest person that people could ever wish to meet. She is hyper beyond imagination and her whole aura buzzes with intense energy that can be quite scary to be around. She acts a bit like a ditz sometimes but that is because she joys in seeing other people laugh and loves to know that it’s her causing that laughter. She’s great fun to be around and her friends will always say that if you need cheering up Kitty is the person to come see. She can make a frown turn upside down in a second when she’s trying simply because she’s infectious. Katy is a popular girl for this very reason and if you’re lucky enough to be one of her closest mates then well done to you you’re in for a lifetime of laughter and fun with this contented young woman.

Appearance » H A N G I N G B Y A T H R E A D
Celebrity Claim: Kristin Kreuk Hair: Black Eyes: Really dark brown Build: Lithe as a cat Height: 5ft 4” Clothing Style: Relaxed
General Appearance: Katherine has many things in her life that she cares about. Her appearance is definitely not one of them. She never takes much thought to the way she appears so there is only one word to really sum her up. ‘Pretty’. Not stunning, not beautiful… Pretty. And she’s very happy with this fact. If she can be pretty without bothering than why should she lather her face with make-up? She doesn’t want to be stunning. She wants to be normal and that’s overall look that she manages to achieve. There’s nothing particularly about her that causes her to stick out from the pack, this is of course the look she is always striving to maintain.
Looking from the top down with Kate the first thing you will come across is a head of softly curling jet-black hair. It hangs down to just a few inches above her lower back and is always kept clean. She doesn’t pay much attention to her hair so she just leaves it to do what it wants or scrapes it back into a high ponytail. Her hair is a pointless waste of time in her opinion so she’s definitely not one to stand in front of a mirror for hours and brush every lock individually. Moving on down ones eyes will fall on a pair of chocolate brown orbs. The exact same shade as the sweet treat when it is melting. These eyes are the only part of her appearance that draws attention to her when spotting in a crowd. Everything else is plain but she does like her eyes and the way they shine out the bubblier side of her personality. Her eyes have a life of their own in many ways and always betray what she is really feeling. Therefore she is horrible at faking a smile or pretending to be upset at anything. Her eyes are traitors to her face and soul.
If you keep looking down you will come across what can only be described as a very large mouth. There is no other real way to describe it. It is a very large mouth. Thankfully it also stretches to a very big smile, which sort of makes up for it’s abnormal largeness. If there was one part of her appearance that she would gladly change Katherine would change the massive gob she was bestowed with by whoever chose to curse her. Her figure is just tiny, in every way imaginable. Katy is lacking in height completely. Standing at barely 5ft 4” she often feels like she’s always the last to know when it rains. She hates being short but she is what she is and nothing can help that. As for size, she is so thin that she is often accused of being anorexic. It’s not a pretty thin-ness either. She hasn’t got any noticeable curves anyway. Stick thin is probably the best way to describe her.

History » K I L L I N G T I M E
Parents: James Pelletier && Charlene Marcus Siblings: None Children: None
History: ”Before I even graced this world.” James Pelletier and Charlene Marcus met whilst he was on the run from a pissed off pureblood who’s wife he slept with. He didn’t want to get killed and he knew he would do if he hung around, so he escaped, to Scotland of all places. It was here that he settled down and spent a few years before he came across a young woman called Charlene. She was a dancer in a bar he visited frequently and he soon grew very fond of her. It was very soon that he began to realise that she was not all together human. When he asked for her last name she spoke with pride ‘Marcus’. The name definitely rang a bell to say the least. Marcus was a pureblooded Italian name and that meant James gave himself permission to go after her after about 15 years of simply watching her dance. This led to one single night of passion in which neither of them were sober to say the least. They forgot contraception and three weeks later, still together, they both watched in horror, as the potion they were using turned pink.
”The day the world got better…” It was Christmas day and James and Charlene were together for the singular occasion for one reason and one reason only, it was her due date and the child wasn’t going to be held back any longer. James had already decided that if it were a girl he would take it and if it were a boy he was Charlene’s responsibility. Having heard of his cousin’s death it wasn’t very hard to pick a name. His sister, a cold hardhearted witch had been called Katy. Charlene went into labour about 4:15 am and Kitty was birthed into the world five hours later at 9:23. It was an awful birth and Charlene was devastated that James simply picked the child up and walked away, no one thinking to stop him. That was the last time the mother saw her child for five years.
”The day that scared me forever…” James moved back to England to try and raise his daughter as true a Pelletier as possible, filling her head with silly ideas about her blood and the pride she should feel in her name. Then that other pureblood caught up with him and murdered him in his bed, thankfully Katy was hidden away in the attic as James had almost guessed they were coming from him and didn’t wish for the last Pelletier to be killed off as well. Kit was forced to listen to the darkest of torture being placed upon his father, the screams that filled her ears were terrible and it was a wake up call that she refused to be like the people uttering ‘crucio’ with such vengeance. She had to stay pure of heart and not fall to the dark arts, as most other Pelletier’s were prone to do.
”The day I escaped…” Katy left the house where her father had lived on a broom, escaping over the heads of the escaping mob. They did not notice her as she dipped down through a forest and set a coordinate into the autopilot of the particular broom, it had cost a lot but was worth it, very soon she was being taken away from England, very soon she was on her way to Scotland, to her mother. She touched down in her last address her father had ever given to her and the small five year old tapped on the door. She was amazingly mature for her age because she had been forced to be so, her father had never really provided for her to say the least and she had long since had to cope on her own, making her own decisions. The door was opened by a woman that Katy knew immediately was her mother; they had the same eyes you see. The moment Charlene saw the small, shivering, undernourished girl she also knew what connection they had and pulled Katy into the first hug she had ever experienced. Her little girl was home and as she recounted the events of her life so far she wore on her life to give her a better life than the one she had left.
”Who’s in the money?” Now James had been rather rich before he died and in his will all the money was put into Katy’s vault at Gringotts, making sure that she and her mother had plenty to live on. As she grew he became a more settled child and learnt to feel safe in the company of others. It was at about 7 years old that he first portrayed any sign of magic. He was playing with the other children in the Highlands when a big bully came towards him and demanded all the money she had with her. Katy stood and a second later the big fat teenager was sent flying backwards into a collection of dustbins. Katy dusted her hands proudly and ran off to tell her mummy that he could go to Hogwarts now. The other kids were left starring after her but from that day Kitty was admired in the town for beating the bully. None of them understanding how she had done it.
”Spread my wings and fly…” The day that Katy actually went to Hogwarts was one of the scariest in her life. She had the Italian tan, a tall frame and a skinny body and never before had it shaken with fear so much. She remembers clearly running through the barrier and arriving at the platform in a matter of seconds. She found a compartment and was soon joined by some other kids that he quickly became friends with because of her bubbly, approachable manner. Her smile was infection and her good mood soon shone through her fear as she started cracking jokes and telling stories. The other kids listened to every word. She had one of those ways of talking that had to be listened to no matter what else was going on because it was so expressive. She barely paused for breath and when the other guys finally got a word in edgeways it was to ask. “So what’s you name?” To which she replied nonchalantly. “Katy Pelletier.” The last name caused a shiver to run around the compartment and he held her hands up in surrender. “You can pick your friends, but not your family.” Soon word spread down the train that the last of the Pelletiers was on board and the wannabe Slytherins smirked, at least they could rely on her being with them.
”Surprise surprise…” Now once that hat was placed on Katy’s head everyone was expecting an immediate reaction of Slytherin. But instead they were forced to sit and wait as the hat shifted between all four houses. It seemed that Kitty had the makings of all the different houses; it was just hard to find out which characteristic was stronger than the other. In the end it was her bravery that won out and the hat screamed out. “GRYFFINDOR!” A gasp ran around the hall, that wasn’t right surely? The only Pelletier ever to be sorted into anything other than Slytherin. The other kids that she had sat with on the train had been sorted and some joined her, some went to other places, but she didn’t care. She was set to be friends with everyone ifs he had the chance.
”I solemnly swear I am up to no good…” Katy prides herself on being a little bit mischievous around the school; in fact she lives to create havoc. Sure she leaves most of it up to the Marauders but if there’s ever an opening they haven’t hit she’s there before you can blink. Kitty wants to leave a band before she heads out the school, as this is her last year. She’s going to join the order when she leaves the school, that’s her only goal apart from to become an auror.
RP Sample: Katie Scott was a girl on the edge to say the very least. She didn't eat, she didn't sleep and anorexia had set in hard. But it wasn't deliberate. She wasn't doing it to lose weight. She just didn't see the point of eating and sleeping when there more important things to do with her time. Like track down the bloody Death Eater that took out her dad with that curse. Every time that little Kit closed her eyes she saw a horrid image of her father lying in a cold, dark alley. No one was there to hold him as he died. He had died alone and Kat couldn't get over that fact. Jonas Scott had always been her role-model. He was strong, kind, brave and caring. His family was a happy one and she had been just another girl.
Then the stitches had come apart over her eyes, and she was plunged into a world she had previously tried to ignore. Her ray of sunshine that was her father had been snatched away without a word of warning. He hadn't done anything to anger Lord Voldemort or his ranks. He had just been in the wrong place at the wrong time. A case of misfortune and mistake. He wasn't even meant to be in that alleyway. Katie had been sick and he'd gone out to get something for her. Which was why she was so set on her task, it was her fault that her father was dead, or that's what she thought anyway. It wasn't true but no one could convince her any other way.
So now she was minuet and looked as if she was going to be snapped in half if a gust of wind hit her lightly. She looked ill and her natural bounce was gone, the only part of her truly alive was her dark blonde hair. That's shine could never be taken away. But her eyes. Her usually beautiful bright, blue eyes were cold and dead, inside a pale waxen face. And once again she wasn't asleep. She was making her way to the kitchens to get some coffee because she didn't want to go to sleep. The caffeine would keep her awake and working. Making her way in the House Elves brought her usual tray and she sat down. Her now very thin fingers winding around the hot mug as she began to sip it slowly. She surveyed the room she was in and noticed the elves were looking at her sadly. They weren't happy to see one of the people they served looking so thin and ill. In fact without her even ordering they brought forth a huge slice of chocolate cake and slipped it next to her. She ignored it, but then the entrance to the kitchen swung open once more and revealed...
