Fortune or Friends: Friends Love or Power: Love Strength or Intelligence: Strength Courage or Fame: Courage Rebellion or Atonement: Rebellion
General Personality: Always a child that seems to stand out in a crowd, Destiny is one of those girls who doesn't really fit into a specific group. She's intelligent, though she shows it only in her schoolwork, and she is dedicated to anything she sets her mind to, more often than not, her training. However, she is normally a very hot-headed girl, a trait she earned from her Mother before her death, usually having an opinion about anything that she is confronted with, as she enjoys speaking her mind.
Her loyalty to the few friends she has is overwhelming at times, something that often lands her in the hospital wing with some form of cut or bruise. Anything she has in her life she holds as a precious gift, never letting it go unless there is no other way to keep it with her. Such was true in the case of her Mother, whose death affected Destiny badly.

Celebrity Claim: Emma Watson Hair: Brownish-blonde Eyes: Bright blue Build: Slim, slightly muscular Height: 5'9" Clothing Style: Jeans, tank tops. Comfortable.
General Appearance: Destiny is the type to wander around the school in her uniform, unless she can somehow get rid of it, as she truely hates it. Instead, she favours a more casual appearance, prefering to wear her jeans and tank tops on warmer days. She stands at about 5'9" and weighs only 130lbs, but looks more slight than she would like to admit. Only her arms seem to show any signs of physical workouts, normally because she hates wearing shorts.
Like her Mother, Destiny inherited her ringlettes of brownish-blonde hair, and her striking blue eyes that remind her father so much of the sea he used to look at when he was growing up, having lived in Spain for sometime. Due to her rigorous workouts to keep her body in tip-top shape, Destiny is quite fit, and enjoys running around the grounds in an attempt to clear her mind of her troubles.

History » K I L L I N G T I M E
Parents: Antonio Marquez - Father Elena Marquez - Mother - Deceased Arianna Halliwell - Stepmother Siblings: None Children: None
History: Antonio and Elena met in Spain about five years before the birth of their only child. Neither one knew anything about the supernatural or of magic, and so pursued a romantic relationship with one another. By the end of their first official year of dating, Antonio had proposed to Elena, who accepted. They married the next year, remaining happily married until the day that Elena gave birth to their first child, a son, whom they name Matthew. Sadly, the tiny babe died within a few months of his birth, and his heartbroken parents buried him in Spain before moving to England for better career opportunities.
They settled down in a small flat in London, where, only five months after moving, it was learned that Elena was expecting another child. This time, not wanting to risk the loss of another child, Antonio enlisted the help of a young woman who lived nearby on her own, asking her to move in and help to care for Elena and the new babe. Miss Halliwell agreed, helping to deliver Destiny when the time came.
But the strain of moving was proving to be too much for Elena, who became ill shortly after the birth of her daughter. Doctors were called in, each giving the ailing woman something to ease the pain, telling her husband that she would be alright as long as the medication was taken. Things seemed alright for the first four years, until Elena stadily grew worse. By Destiny's fifth birthday, Elena was dead.
Overcome with grief, Antonio could hardly look at his child, seeing that she was indeed the perfect image of her poor Mother. Miss Halliwell, affectionately known to th girl as "Ari," stayed on to care of the young girl, and tried to help her Father see that his child needed him now more than ever. Within time, Antonio was playing with Destiny, giving her pet names and treating her like she was the light of his life. And with this new found love for his daughter, there came a new kind of love as well, one that was directed at Ari. When Destiny was nine, she was thrilled to learn that her Father would be marrying her nanny, who would now be the Mother than she had never really had.
And, when she was older, she requested her that her Father change her surname to Halliwell, to honour the woman who saw her through some of her toughest years. Knowing how strong of a bond there was between his daughter and his wife, Antonio agreed, thus, Destiny Marquez, became Destiny Halliwell.
RP Sample: A large portion of her day had been spent in the library, blue eyes never once wavering from the parchment that she wrote upon hastily with her quill, or the book from which she took her notes for the assignment. This was merely a typical weekend spent for Arianna Jordan, who prefered to get her homework done on Friday evenings while others were busy lounging around, instead of waiting, as they did, for Sunday, when they would panic because it was due the following morning. She wasn't a perfect student, by any means, but she at least attempted to complete her work.
Finally, after three hours of sitting there under the watchful eye of the librarian, who spent less time watching her than other students, she was finished. She rolled the long piece of parchment for History of Magic, the foot and a half long piece for Potions, and the smaller one for Defence Against the Dark Arts together, stuffing them neatly into her bag as she grabbed her books and hurried out of the deadly quiet room.
The fresh air that greeted her was a welcome escape as she pulled her brown locks out of the scrunchy that held them out of her eyes, fluffying her hair slightly now that it hung loosely around her shoulders. This was simplest way to tell if she was working or not, for if she was, her hair was always pulled back, and if she was not, then it generally was not. A small sigh of releif escaped her lips as she mounted the stairs, heading back to the Gryffindor Tower, to hopefully enjoy the company of her friends before escaping to the comforts of her four-poster bed.
But as she climbed up to the third floor, a lone figure suddenly got in her way, causing her arms to release the number of heavy, leather bound books that they had held. For a moment, she nearly looked up and apologized for running into them, until she saw the colour on the edges of their robes, and quickly closed her mouth. Of all of the people she could have run into, it had to be this boy.
William Goyle was no stranger to her, at least by name and reputation. He had a nasty habit, she was told, of cursing those who got in his way, and treating other students, especially Muggleborns, quite horridly. Arianna had little patience for people like that, and so, to avoid the risk of a detention, merely contained her anger, kneeling down to collect her books.
"Perhaps you should watch where you walk," she said civily. "The next time, it might be a teacher who you knock down the stairs instead of a fellow student who you make drop her books."
Her dislike for him was evident in her tone, but she did little to hide it. So far, she had heard nothing good about this boy, and nothing good was sure to follow.
